Trams are part of the public transportation system here and are quite convenient.* Although also kind of scary.
I have a new bike as well, so I can bike from my place to work. Roughly a 30 minute bike-ride, one-way. (So far, one person out of ca 20 agrees with me that 30 minutes one-way is a bike-able distance.)
*However, the ticketing system is not exactly to be described as convenient...
Oh, 30 min. is definitely a bike-able distance.
ReplyDeleteI go that distance every day. Although Göteborg is somewhat less flat than Warsaw, the existence of bike-roads and relative scarcity of suicidal drivers still puts you at an advantage.
That makes us three to think so. It works reasonably well at most times, except when the bike-lanes are crowded with IFK-, GAIS- och Frölundafans...
